Our People
Heritage is a church who cares for its members. Our deacons regularly call on our shut-ins and those hospitalized, prepare and serve funeral dinners, send cards in recognition of various occasions, and provide transportation to worship services. Our pastor makes pastoral care a high priority, visiting the hospitalized and shut-ins.
The good news of Jesus Christ is shared in our mission. Locally we provide personal and financial resources for such programs as the City Mission, the Community Pantry System, Day Watch, Habitat for Humanity, and the Friendship House. Each year we help a needy family at Christmas time. Various outside groups and organizations use our facilities.
As a church of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we unite with Christians from many other churches to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to work for peace and justice around the world.
