CROP WALK
Heritage has a long history with participating in the annual CROP Walk. CROP walks began on October 17, 1969, when a thousand people in Bismark, ND, walked in the first-ever CROP WALK and raised $25,000 to help stop hunger. Today some 2,000 communities across the U.S. sponsor CROP Walks. The acronym has come to mean Communities Reaching Out to People, though that was not the first meaning of the acronym. In essence, it is a hunger walk You can find more information regarding CROP Walks here. Please visit our own CROP WALK page for pictures of our walkers throughout the years.
